Gram flour for diabetic patients

Eating gram flour roti is considered beneficial for diabetic patients. It is gluten-free and also contains soluble fibre in abundance. By eating its bread, you get the required amount of carbs, fibre and protein. The glycemic index of gram flour is much lower than other flours and hence it is good for controlling blood sugar. It also prevents insulin resistance, preventing blood sugar spikes.

Ragi flour to control blood sugar

Ragi, also known as finger millet. Its flour is also beneficial in managing blood sugar. It has a low glycemic index and the dietary fibre present in it slows down the digestion of carbs, which helps in managing blood sugar levels. Ragi also contains high amounts of calcium, iron and vitamin D. It prevents blood sugar from increasing. The amino acids and minerals present in it also control blood sugar.
