Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated on 11 April 2024. It is one of the major festivals of Islam and any festival is incomplete without dishes. On the occasion of Eid, friends, close ones and relatives visit each other's houses. Let us congratulate you on Eid. In such a situation, many types of dishes are cooked for the guests on Eid. Although delicious dishes are abundant on Eid, there is one dish that is traditionally prepared everywhere on the occasion of Eid. This dish is vermicelli, without which Eid is incomplete and as soon as this festival is mentioned, the first taste of vermicelli comes to the mouth.

Many types of dishes are made from vermicelli for Eid, like vermicelli kheer, vermicelli zarda, and milk vermicelli. Kimami vermicelli is also very popular in Eid vermicelli. It is very easy to make it. This time on the occasion of Eid, if you are making Kimami vermicelli at home, then you can further enhance the taste of vermicelli by using the method given in this article.

Ingredients for making Eid Sevai
300 grams Vermicelli Banarasi
200 grams khoya
2 tbsp ghee
2 to 3 tbsp almonds
2 to 3 tablespoons cashews
2 to 3 tbsp raisins
2 to 3 tbsp coconut
3 cups water
2 cups sugar
One teaspoon cardamom
1 tsp kewra
Food coloring

Method to make Vermicelli
Step 1- First of all, pour three cups of water in a pan.
Step 2- Add two cups of sugar, one teaspoon of cardamom powder, one teaspoon of kewra, and food color and cook.
Step 3- Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. However, keep in mind that syrup should not be made from this mixture.
Step 4- Meanwhile, add two spoons of ghee to another pan and fry almonds, cashews, raisins, and coconut well. Then take it out and keep it in a separate vessel.
Step 5- Heat half a cup of ghee in the same pan and then add vermicelli and fry.
Step 6- Keep stirring the vermicelli until its color becomes light golden.
Step 7- Add syrup to the roasted vermicelli and add grated dry fruits and khoya on top.
Step 8- Cover and cook the vermicelli for two to three minutes. Then turn off the gas. The vermicelli will absorb the syrup in 10 minutes. Now vermicelli is ready to serve.
