eSIM has been in use for a long time. eSIM is a digital SIM card that has to be activated through software. eSIM has been in use in iPhones for a long time and eSIM is easily transferred between iPhones. In such a situation, the SIM does not have to be activated every time.

Now Google is also going to provide the same facility. According to the report, now eSIM can be transferred between Android devices. Google is going to start it with Pixel 8 which was launched last year. Apart from Pixel, this facility will also be available with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.

Last year Google announced it at MWC 2023 and now its update is being released. Last year too, e-SIM transfer was seen in Pixel 8. It is being said that in India too, the facility to transfer e-SIM between Android devices will soon be available.
