Powdered sugar: 100 grams (according to taste)
Cardamom powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Ghee: 1-2 teaspoons
Pistachio, almond, or cashew: for decoration
Method
To make Mawa Barfi, first heat ghee in a pan and then add more to it. Now fry the mawa on low flame. Keep stirring it till the color of the male becomes light golden and a good aroma starts coming from it.
When the male is well roasted and cools down a bit, add powdered sugar to it and mix well. After this add cardamom powder to it, which will add aroma and taste to the barfi. Mix it well and make the male uniform.
Now spread it by applying ghee on a plate or tray. Take the help of a spoon or spatula to make it even. Finally, sprinkle finely chopped pistachios, almonds, or cashews on top and press lightly so that they stick to the barfi.
Let the barfi cool for at least 1-2 hours to set. After cooling, cut it into your desired shape. Your delicious Mawa ki Barfi is ready!
