Delhi
There is a complete ban on firecrackers in Delhi on the day of Diwali.
UP
There is no ban on firecrackers in UP. It is worth noting that the rules in NCR will remain applicable like Delhi.
Bihar
All types of firecrackers are banned in Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, and Hajipur. Whereas in other cities and villages, green firecrackers can be burnt from 8 pm to 10 pm.
Maharashtra
The Bombay High Court has asked officials and police to ensure that firecrackers are burst only between 7 pm and 10 pm on Diwali. Whereas in Nagpur, fireworks are allowed from 8 pm to 10 pm.
Karnataka
Bursting of green crackers is allowed in Karnataka from 8 pm to 10 pm.
Punjab
Bursting of only green firecrackers has been allowed in Punjab. Ludhiana administration has mentioned in the advisory on bursting of firecrackers that firecrackers can be burst from 8 pm to 10 pm.
West Bengal
The state government of West Bengal has given permission to burst green crackers for a limited time.
Kerala
Here the state government has permitted to burst firecrackers from 8 pm to 10 pm.
