> Papaya, beetroot, kiwi, pomegranate, green vegetables, etc. should be taken in sufficient quantity in the diet.

> In severe cases, blood/platelet transfusion or oxygen therapy is given.

How to avoid it?

Dengue is spread by the bite of an infected Aedes mosquito. These mosquitoes are found in clean water and are more active during the day. Use mosquito nets and do not allow water to accumulate in or around the house. Change cold water daily. Cover your body and wear shoes and socks when going outside or near trees. Cover the water tank. Spray insecticides and larvicide.
