The metro is no less than a lifeline for the people of Delhi-NCR. Millions travel daily from it. Especially people going to the office travel a lot. If you want to come to Noida from Gurgaon or go from Noida to Gurgaon, then people prefer to travel by metro. There are many reasons behind saving from rent to time. In such a situation, if you also travel by metro, then you need to know what mistakes you should not make. Otherwise, you may be fined. The first mistake in this is only about the female coach. So let's know about this. People traveling by metro can learn about this in the next slides ...
Do not go to the female coach.
If you travel by metro, then know that the first box in the direction of the speed of the car is reserved for women, that is, only women can travel in this compartment. In such a situation, if a man is caught traveling in this compartment, then he is fined.
Flying squads are posted.
Flying squads are deployed in the metro route (several metro stations). This squad consists of Central Industrial Security Force i.e. CISF, Delhi Metro Rail Police i.e. DMRP, and DMRC personnel. This squad catches those who are caught traveling in a female coach.
Why can't men travel in women's coaches?
A few years ago, it was decided by DMRC that the first box in the direction of the speed of the car would be reserved for women. This was done so that cases like molestation and misconduct of women could be stopped inside the metro and women could travel without any problem and get a safe environment in the metro.
How much is fine?
If a male is caught traveling in a female coach inside the metro, then he is fined Rs 250 under the Delhi Metro i.e. O&M Act. So avoid traveling in women's coaches.
You can contact this helpline.
At the same time, if women have any problem on the metro train or campus or report any misconduct or unauthorized entry, then they can contact DMRC on 24*7 helpline number 155370.
