A deepfake video of Ratan Tata shared with a link on Telegram
The video was shared on Telegram with a link to a suspicious site. This video was shared from the Telegram channel of Sonal Aggarwal (user name @Money_Sonabot). On doing a Google reverse image search, it was found that the profile photo posted on this channel was of fashion blogger and Instagram influencer Sukhneet Wadhwa. This was only a matter of one channel but there is a whole store of such scams on Telegram. Overall, Telegram has now become a den of scams. Such groups are both public and private.

What is the way to escape?
To avoid such deepfake videos and Telegram scams, you need to be a little careful.

The first thing is that do not click on any web link shared with any video.

If after clicking any web link, it takes you to Telegram, then immediately come back and delete the link.

If you come across a video in which a famous person is asking you to invest, then be careful.

Stay away from appealing messages like investment last date or chances.
Do not share your personal information on Telegram or any other social media site.

If you accidentally become a victim of such a scam, immediately complain to the cyber police and also inform your bank about it.
