After which the Constitution of the Republic of India was ready on 26 January 1949. However, it was officially implemented on 26 January 1950. This day is celebrated every year as Republic Day.

The Constitution was unofficially implemented on 26 November because this day is the birthday of Dr. Sir Harisingh Gour, a senior member of the Constitution Drafting Committee. Who created the Constitution?

The credit for the creation of the Indian Constitution is given to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Baba Saheb was the chairman of the drafting committee of the Constituent Assembly. He is also called the father of the Indian Constitution. There were 389 members in the Constituent Assembly and Dr. Rajendra Prasad was its chairman.
