How can I drink coffee with PCOS?

  • Never drink coffee on an empty stomach in PCOS. If you like to drink coffee, have it only after eating something.
  • Drinking coffee on an empty stomach can cause indigestion. In PCOS, women also complain of bloating and acidity. Therefore, do not drink coffee on an empty stomach.
  • Do not take coffee even with breakfast. This can make it difficult to absorb iron and lead to iron deficiency in the body.
  • Always take tea and coffee only half an hour after breakfast.

  • Have a light snack with coffee. Just drinking coffee can cause harm. Therefore, eat something light with it.
  • To drink coffee in PCOS, prepare it in full-fat milk or coconut milk.
  • Drink coffee only in limited quantities. Do not drink coffee more than 1-2 times a day.
  • Women with PCOS find it difficult to sleep. The caffeine present in coffee can increase your difficulty. Therefore, do not drink coffee a few hours before sleeping.
  • If you are a coffee lover and it is a part of your daily diet, then drink water throughout the day to keep yourself hydrated.
  • The antioxidants present in coffee are good for the body and can take care of health in many ways. However, in PCOS it is better to drink it in small quantities.
  • You can drink detox water, infused water, chamomile tea and green tea.
