Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rava,
  • a handful of cashews,
  • handful of raisins
  • 2 to 3 tbsp ghee,
  • 1 tsp fried cashews and raisins,
  • pinch of saffron powder,
  • 2 cloves,
  • 1 cup sugar.

Process

Heat one tablespoon ghee pan. Roast the rava in this ghee till it turns light pink. After this keep the roasted rava aside. Now put 2 cups of water and saffron powder in the pan and boil it. Put roasted rava in this water and mix well. Keep stirring this mixture from time to time so that the rava does not stick to the pan. Add sugar to this mixture and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. When the rava and excess ghee start separating, remove the pan from the heat. Now put ghee in another pan and fry the cashews and raisins. Pour these roasted cashew raisins over the rava mixture and serve to eat.
