ChatGPT will be in the apps
Customers will be able to hook their apps into ChatGPT's application programming interface, giving them the same version of the GPT 3.5 model that OpenAI uses at a cost 10 times lower than the current model. Instacart, Shopify, and Snap are among the companies already using the ChatGPT API in their products, OpenAI said in a blog post on Wednesday.
Working on revenue growth
Last year's most famous artificial intelligence system ChatGPT from OpenAI has impressed a lot of people. Now the company also needs to figure out how to accelerate revenue growth and how to foot the heavy cloud-computing bills these massive AI models present.
In January, OpenAI acquired Microsoft Corp. in the company. negotiated expansion of investment to the tune of $10 billion (about Rs.82,400 crores). Last month, OpenAI started a waiting list for companies and developers who want to use ChatGPT in their apps and is selling a premium version to users.
ChatGPT will be available on Snapchat
Photo-sharing app Snapchat has also added the new ChatGPT to its app, an AI-enabled chatbot released for Snapchat Plus members. If you want to subscribe to it, you will have to pay $3.99 (roughly Rs. 330) a month.
