Students preparing for the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams in 2025 are eagerly awaiting the release of the official exam datesheet. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the timetable soon, which will allow students to view their subject-wise exam schedule. Approximately 44 lakh students are expected to take part in the CBSE board exams this year.

Expected Exam Start Date

CBSE had previously announced that the 2025 board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 would begin on February 15, 2025. The full datesheet is expected to be available by the end of November 2024.

Practical Exams and Internal Assessment

CBSE’s practical exams and internal assessments for 10th and 12th grades are set to begin on January 1, 2025. For schools in winter regions, practical exams started on November 5, 2024, and will continue until December 5, 2024.

CBSE has provided sample papers for students to prepare for the final exams. These are available on the CBSE academic portal: cbseacademic.nic.in.

Security Measures for Exam Centers

CBSE has mandated the installation of CCTV cameras in all exam rooms for the 2025 exams. The recordings will be preserved for two months to ensure exam integrity. Schools without CCTV will not be permitted to serve as exam centers. The cameras must also support pan, tilt, and zoom functionality for comprehensive monitoring.
