People buy cars for their convenience and travel to office and other places by it. Car is considered the best for travelling in rain and in summer people like to travel by car because of the presence of AC in the car. However, in summer or even in general people keep a water bottle in their car. This is so that if they feel thirsty during the journey they can drink water. On the other hand, when people park their car, they do not take out that water bottle, but you will be surprised to know that this water bottle can become the reason for setting your car on fire? Yes, this can happen. So let's know what are the reasons for this and how you can protect yourself from it. You can know about this in the next slides...
How can a fire break out?
Generally if you see, it is understood that water extinguishes fire. In such a situation, how can a fire break out from a water bottle? If this question is coming to your mind, then there is nothing wrong in it because water is not a flammable substance that can cause fire.
But here it has to be understood that when a plastic bottle of water is kept in the car and the rays of the sun fall on it, then this water bottle becomes a magnifying glass and works in the same way. This situation is more likely to happen when the sun is strong and the car is parked in this strong sunlight.
Here we should also know that when any plastic item is taken near the sun or the rays of the sun fall on it, then that plastic becomes soft. You can understand this with a water bottle. Therefore, it can cause a fire in the dashboard, seat cover which can also take a terrible form.
Keep these things in mind, only then you will be protected:-
If you are carrying a water bottle in the car during the journey, do not keep it on the seat or at a place where sunlight falls.
You can wrap a cloth on the outside of the plastic water bottle.
Try to park the car in the shade, so that sunlight does not fall on the car.
