Besan Pakoda Recipe: There is hardly anyone whose mouth does not water after seeing hot gram flour pakodas. If you get pakodas that are crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, then the eater's day is made. If you also like gram flour pakodas then you can prepare crispy pakodas very easily. Gram flour pakodas are often made on special occasions. To make gram flour pakodas crisp and soft from the inside, a pinch of baking soda should be added to the batter. Along with this, adding celery to the batter of pakodas helps in digesting the pakodas.

Ingredients for making gram flour pakora
Gram flour - 1 bowl
Cumin - 1 tsp
Celery – 3/4 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Green chili chopped - 3-4
Green coriander leaves chopped – 2 tbsp
Oil – for frying
Salt – as per taste

Method of making gram flour pakoda
To make flavourful gram flour pakoda, first take a deep-bottomed vessel filter the gram flour, and add it. After this, finely chop green chilies and green coriander leaves. Now add all the spices including cumin, celery, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, and baking soda to the gram flour and mix well. After this add green chilies and green coriander leaves and mix. Finally, mix salt as per taste in gram flour.

Now add water little by little and prepare a batter of gram flour. Keep in mind that the solution should not be too thin or too thick. Keep its consistency medium. Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, make pakodas with your hands put them in the pan and fry them.

Fry the pakodas by turning them until they become golden and crispy from both sides. After this, take them off in a plate. Similarly, prepare pakoras from all the batter. Now serve hot pakodas with sauce or chutney.
