  • When you eat sweets after meals, it increases the blood sugar level and due to this, extra calories start getting stored in the form of fat.
  • If you drink tea on an empty stomach in the morning, it can cause acidity, affect gut health and also increase belly fat.
  • Having dinner late at night affects the body's natural clock and metabolism. Due to this, food is not digested properly and belly fat starts increasing.
  • Belly fat also increases due to the habit of overeating. When you do not control portions, you end up eating more calories than you need and fat increases around the stomach.
  • When you do not get enough sleep, this also causes visceral fat to increase around the stomach. Therefore, 7-8 hours of sleep is very important.
  • The absence of a 12-hour fasting window between dinner and breakfast also increases belly fat.
