Wheat flour roti is generally eaten in India. Most people consume them both times. They always feel that they cannot fill their stomach without eating bread. We talked about roti but today we are going to tell you about special roti, which is quite spicy. Here we are talking about Punjabi Missi Roti. You will be enthralled as soon as you eat this because it tastes like this. Although you might have enjoyed it at a wedding ceremony or party, it can be made equally tasty at home. For this, gram flour is used along with wheat flour.

Ingredients
Gram flour – 1 cup
Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
Onion – 1
Green chilli – 1
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Coarsely ground fennel – 1/2 tsp
Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Dry mango powder – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Grated ginger – 1 tsp
Nigella seeds – 1 tsp
Butter – as per requirement
Oil/Ghee – 2 tsp
Salt – as per taste

Recipe
- First of all cut onion and green chilli into fine pieces.
Now sift wheat flour and gram flour in a deep-bottomed vessel.
- After this, mix them well.
- Now add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin, and ginger to the flour and mix.
- After this, mix Kasuri fenugreek, finely chopped onion, green chili, and coriander leaves in the mixture.
Now add 2 teaspoons of oil to this mixture and mix.


- After mixing the oil well with the mixture, knead the dough by adding water little by little. The dough should neither be too soft nor too hard.
After this, cover the dough with a cotton cloth and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
- After the stipulated time, take the dough and knead it once more. After this, prepare balls of equal proportion of dough.
Now keep a nonstick pan/griddle on low flame for heating.
- While the pan is heating, take a ball of dough and roll it.
- Spread a pinch of nigella seeds and coriander leaves over it and put it on the pan to cook.
Now bake missi roti by pressing it with the help of a cotton cloth or towel.
- Cook the roti thoroughly from both sides. After the roti becomes golden, take it out in a plate.
Similarly, make missi roti from whole wheat flour. Apply butter on them and serve hot.
