The festival of Basant Panchami is celebrated with great pomp all over the country. The fifth date of Magh month is known as Basant Panchami. It is mentioned in the scriptures that Mother Saraswati had descended on this day. On this day Mata appeared sitting on a white lotus in Veena, books hands and garlands in hands as well as in groom pose.
For this reason, Mother Saraswati is worshipped with full devotion on this day. It is believed that for the devotees, who worship on this day with complete rituals, all their wishes are fulfilled and they get the blessings of knowledge.

Worship mother Saraswati
On the day of Basant Panchami, especially worship Mother Saraswati. Do pay attention to the auspicious time at the time of worship. On this day, at the time of worship, you should wear yellow clothes and offer yellow flowers. If you worship with devotion, you will get the blessings of knowledge and you will become successful in life. Meditate on Mother Saraswati by offering turmeric, saffron, yellow flowers, and yellow sweets along with worship.
Donate books
If a student's studies are not going well, then donate books to poor children on the day of Basant Panchami. Donate pencils and books to children along with books. On this day, tell some things of knowledge to the children and motivate them to study. Children who are weak in studies should donate some Veda Shastra to a priest on the day of Basant Panchami.
