Balasana is one of the many asanas, the practice of which can provide many health benefits. The meaning of Balasana is clear from the name itself, the posture of sitting in a child's posture.

The correct way to practice Balasana
Step 1- To practice Balasana, sit on the mat with your knees bent and touch both the ankles and heels together.
Step 2- Now inhale and raise both hands straight above the head. Note that the palms do not have to be joined together.
Step 3- Then exhale and bend forward. Keep in mind that you have to bend from the hip joints and not from the waist.


Step 4- Lean forward until the palms rest on the ground.
Step 5- Now keep the head on the ground. You are in Balasana posture.
Step 6- In this posture, relax the body take a long breath, and do not exhale.
Step 7- Join the fingers of both hands together tightly. You can take support by placing your head between them.
Step 8- Now keep the head gently between both palms and breathe normally.
Step 9- You can remain in Balasana posture for 30 seconds to five minutes.
