The spinal cord is one of the most important parts of the body. But in everyday life, we often ignore it and keep doing many things that harm it. Nowadays, due to busy life and wrong lifestyle, the problem of back pain has increased a lot among the youth. The spine gets affected due to many reasons like sitting in the same position for a long time in the office and lifting things wrongly while cleaning the house. In such a situation, problems with the spinal cord and slipped discs are inevitable. Mainly three types of muscles support the spine, the first of which is the extensor muscle, which helps in standing. The second is the flexor muscle, which works to bend the hip. The third one is the oblique or rotator muscle, which works to hold the abdominal muscles. All these need to work properly, otherwise, you may face problems.

Know the reason
The most common cause of back pain is strain or sprain of the spine muscles, which is also genetically transmitted in some people. At the same time, the spine is also affected due to sitting for a long time, sleeping in the wrong way, and wearing heels and the wrong size shoes. Many times spine problems occur due to injury. Apart from this, weight gain and lack of vitamins and calcium in the body also harm your spinal cord.

Recognize the symptoms
Its main symptoms include muscle cramps, strains, pain and stiffness in the lower back, and feeling extreme pain at night. Along with this, when you have this problem, this back pain spreads to the hips and it feels as if the legs have become numb. Because of this, you face difficulty while walking and the pain increases when you exercise.

Problem-solving
In case of mild or severe pain in the spine, do not sleep on a soft or hard bed, because due to this, this problem increases in people. At the same time, the consumption of intoxicants reduces the blood flow in the spinal cord. In such a situation, the lower part of the spine does not get adequate nutrition, so take special care of your diet.

Take care
If you have the habit of sleeping on your stomach, change it. Do stretching, give time to yoga and exercise, exercising helps in strengthening the spine. Avoid sitting for long periods. If you have to sit in one place for a long time, take the support of pillows behind your back.

Never sit bowed down
Senior orthopedic surgeon and spine specialist Dr. Amit Aggarwal explains, that there are many reasons behind the problem of lower back pain, such as weight gain, reduced physical activity, sitting for a long time poor posture, etc. Spine problems are more common in women because they do many tasks very carelessly. Up to 100-150 slipped disc surgeries are being done daily in Delhi-NCR. In such a situation, you need to take care of yourself, which includes controlling your weight, paying attention to your angle while getting up and sitting, completing the deficiency of vitamin calcium, and avoiding walking and sitting bent for a long time.
