Whenever you join any government scheme, you first have to be eligible for that scheme. The eligibility of each scheme is different. In such a situation, eligible people can benefit by joining the scheme. One scheme in this series is the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. This is a health plan. Under this scheme, Ayushman cards are made for those who are eligible. But here it is also important to know whether the treatment is free through these Ayushman cards or does the cardholder has to pay. Because people who are new cardholders are not aware of this. Do I have to pay for treatment?
Ayushman card is made for the eligible people who join the Ayushman Bharat scheme. After this, the cardholder can go to the hospital and get his treatment done through this card.

The cardholder does not have to pay for his treatment and the entire expense is borne by the government. The cardholder simply has to go to the empaneled hospital, where he has to show his card. After this, you are given free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.

How can the card be made?
To get Ayushman card made, first of all, you have to go to your nearest public service center.
Here you have to meet the concerned officer, who checks your eligibility.
Then your documents are verified and after everything is found correct, your application is submitted.

These people are eligible to get Ayushman card made:-
If you work as a daily wage laborer
If you are destitute or a tribal
Who live in rural areas
Work in the unorganized sector
If there is someone with a disability in your family
If you come from a Scheduled Caste or Tribe etc.
