Ingredients to make Achari Paneer Pulao
Rice – 1 cup
Paneer – 250 grams
Curd – 1/2 cup
Nigella seeds – 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Fennel powder – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Ginger grated – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Oil – as per requirement
Salt – as per taste
How to make Achari Paneer Pulao
To make Achari Paneer Pulao, first, clean the rice and wash it thoroughly with water three times. After this, cut the cheese into small pieces. Now put some oil in a pan and heat it. After the oil is hot, add cumin, fenugreek seeds, nigella, fennel, and asafoetida, and fry for some time. When the spices start crackling, add turmeric and red chili powder to the pan and cook for some time while stirring with a big spoon, then turn off the gas.
Now take a bowl and add curd, lemon juice, and a little salt in it, beat it well, and then put it in the pan and mix. After this, add the paneer pieces to the pan and mix them well with the spices, then cover the pan and leave it for half an hour.
Now add one spoon of desi ghee to the pressure cooker and heat it on medium flame. When the ghee melts, add the spiced paneer and washed rice to it, mix with the help of a spoon, and fry on low flame for 5-7 minutes. After this, add water as per requirement in the cooker and cover the lid and let the pulao cook till 2 whistles. After this, turn off the gas and let the pressure of the cooker release automatically and then open the lid of the cooker. Flavorful Achari Paneer Pulao is ready.
