An Aadhaar card is an important document because many of your works can get stuck if it is not there. An Aadhaar card is required from banks for government or non-government work. Therefore it becomes necessary to have it with you. Similarly, it is also important to update your Aadhaar card. If your Aadhaar card is 10 years old, then in such a situation it is mandatory to get it updated. What is the last date?

If your Aadhaar card is 10 years old, then you must get your Aadhaar card updated. For this, the last date of 14 June 2024 was given by the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI and Aadhaar had to be updated by this date.

At the same time, now the new date for updating the Aadhaar card is 14 September 2024 instead of 14 June 2024. It has been extended by UIDAI. If you update your Aadhaar card online now, then it is free, whereas offline you have to pay a charge of Rs 50 at the Aadhaar service center.

For this, you will need the Service Request Number, which you get after updating your Aadhaar


Step 2
To check the status of your Aadhaar update, first of all, you have to go to the official website of Aadhaar https://uidai.gov.in/en/ here go to the 'My Aadhaar' section and click on the option 'Check Aadhaar Update Status'
Then you have to click on 'SRN' and fill in the SRN i.e. Service Request Number and captcha code and click on submit, after which you get to know the status.
