Aadhaar card seems to be the most important document of today's time because without it many of your works can get stuck. Amidst all this, the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI said that people whose Aadhaar cards are 10 years old will have to get them updated. Actually, the 10-year-old Aadhaar card has been updated by UIDAI and now i.e. till the last date 14 June 2024, you can get your Aadhaar card updated for free. But after this, you may have to pay a fee of Rs 50.

You can update your Aadhaar card for free like this:-
Step 1

If you have not updated your Aadhaar card yet, then get it done today because tomorrow is the last date for this
To update your Aadhaar card, first of all, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI uidai.gov.in/en
After this, you have to click on the option of 'Update Aadhaar' here


Step 2
Now you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number here
Then an OTP will come on your mobile number which is linked to the Aadhaar card
Now you have to log in with the help of this OTP
After this, you have to get your documents verified by clicking on the document update option


Step 3
Then you have to come to the drop list below and update the scanned copy of your identity card and address proof
After this, you have to click on submit and then your form will be submitted
From here you will get a request number through which you can check the status of your Aadhaar update.
