LPG e-KYC: Before the deadline, you can complete your e-KYC process digitally without waiting in line. For more information, visit your gas company's website.
Last date for LPG e-KYC
LPG e-KYC deadline: The last date for LPG customers using Indane, Bharat Gas, or HP Gas to complete the e-KYC process is August 23, 2026. Therefore, customers whose verification is still pending have very little time left.
Fortunately, you don't need to stand in line or visit your LPG distributor. Verification can be completed from the comfort of your home using your smartphone, Aadhaar details, and the mobile number linked to your LPG connection.
What is required to get LPG e-KYC done?
Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Number
Mobile number linked to the LPG connection
LPG Consumer Number or LPG ID
Smartphone with internet access
The official app of your LPG provider
Aadhaar FaceRD app for facial authentication
How do Indane customers complete e-KYC?
Indane customers can use the IndianOil ONE app, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. First, log in using the mobile number linked to your LPG account. Then, from the menu bar, click on My Profile. Select the Re-KYC option and enter your Aadhaar number. Follow the instructions for facial verification using the Aadhaar FaceRD app. Once the authentication is complete, submit the request.
What are the rules for Bharat Gas?
Bharat Gas customers should use the 'Hello BPCL' app. Log in with your registered mobile number. Go to the LPG section on the homepage and click on LPG ID. Then, click on the e-KYC or Aadhaar Authentication section. After entering the OTP received on your mobile, complete the process by scanning your face using Aadhaar FaceRD.
How can HP Gas users verify?
HP Gas customers can complete this process through the HP Pay app. After registering or signing in with your mobile number, click on the LPF/Gas Connection option on the app's main dashboard. Then, select the Aadhaar Authentication option. Submit your Aadhaar consent and complete the required face authentication. Finally, check the application to confirm that the verification status has been successfully updated.
What if e-KYC is not done by August 23?
The biggest downside to failing to complete e-KYC by August 23rd is that any government subsidy credited to your bank account—whether it's the regular subsidy or the ₹300 subsidy under the Ujjwala scheme—will be immediately stopped. Furthermore, your LPG connection will be classified as 'suspended' or 'dormant.' Any attempt to book via the app, IVR, or WhatsApp will result in your booking being rejected.
