Indian Premier League 2023 IPL 16 Schedule: The schedule of the 16th season of the Indian Premier League was released on Friday (February 17). This time a total of 74 matches will be played in the tournament. The final IPL will be played in Ahmedabad. This time 10 teams have been divided into two groups. Whereas, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans have been included in the second group. The first match will be played between Chennai and Gujarat Titans on 31st March.

IPL 2023 matches will be played at the home grounds of the teams. Matches will be organized in Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati, and Dharamshala. The four teams in the group will qualify for the playoffs. 18 matches will be double header matches. A team will play 14 matches, 7 at home and 7 at the home of the opposition team. It may be noted that for the first time after IPL 2019, all the matches will be played at the home ground. In 2020, IPL was organized in UAE due to Coronavirus. At the same time, matches were played on some grounds in India in 2021, but due to the increase of the epidemic, it was stopped in the middle and completed again in the UAE. In 2022, the tournament was to be played entirely in India, but at certain venues. These included league matches in Mumbai-Pune and playoff matches in Ahmedabad-Kolakat.
