Talking in the podcast of Lucknow Super Giants, he said, 'I had left the board exams of Bahruvi because I was a net bowler of Rajasthan Royals at that time. My father strictly asked me to come back. But the coach told me to stay here. Then that year I decided to leave the board exam and completed it the next year.
During this, he said, 'How difficult it was for his father who is a government teacher when I decided to give priority to cricket over studies'. According to Ravi Bishnoi, 'At the age of 10, I joined the cricket academy and at the age of 15, I decided to leave my studies. Because I was not getting time from cricket '. He said, 'It was very difficult to take the parents into confidence. My coach told my father to let me continue playing cricket because of my talent.
No sledging after World Cup
Ravi Bishnoi was a part of India's Under-19 World Cup team in the year 2020. India reached the final that year but lost to Bangladesh by three wickets in the title match. Referring to the World Cup final, he said, 'Bangladesh players sledging with our batsmen. He crossed all limits of sledging. But when my turn came, we also gave him the same answer. After winning the World Cup, those people made fun of us, and later we also said something that we cannot be proud of. But after the Under-19 World Cup 2020, I have not sledged with any player.
