Indore News: Return of passengers poses a threat! 7 new corona patients found in Indore in one day

Indore News: Corona is once again spreading in Indore. Seven new patients were reported on Wednesday, three of whom had recently returned from a trip to Mathura, Kerala and Badrinath.

 

Corona infection is once again seen raising its head in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Seven new corona patients have been confirmed in the city on Wednesday. Three of these patients have recently returned from a trip to Mathura, Kerala and Badrinath. The health department has become active and the search for people who came in contact with the infected has been started. All the infected have been kept in home isolation where they are being treated under the supervision of experts.

 

 

Health department is on alert, new patients are constantly appearing

The increasing number of corona cases in the city has increased the concern of the health department. New patients are coming forward every day due to which the risk of infection is looming again. Many of the seven patients whose reports came positive on Wednesday have recently returned from various states. Preparations are being made to identify the people who came in contact with the infected and isolate them so that the infection can be prevented from spreading.

Women and men among the infected, all in home isolation

Officials said that the reports of a 43-year-old woman who returned from Mathura, a 69-year-old woman who returned from Kerala, a 48-year-old woman who returned from Badrinath, a 29-year-old man who returned from Odisha and a 36-year-old man who returned from Raipur and two men from Indore have come positive. All of them complained of cold, cough and fever, after which they were tested. All the patients have been kept in home isolation and their family members have also been instructed to take special precautions.

So far 33 cases have been reported in Indore, CMHO advised to be cautious

So far this year, a total of 33 cases of corona have been reported in Indore, of which 25 patients are from Indore and eight from other districts. At present, there are 17 active patients in the city, all of whom are in home isolation. CMHO Dr. BS Saitya said that recently the sub-lineage of the Omicron variant of Corona has been confirmed, due to which there is no need to panic but it is important to be cautious. It is advised to avoid crowded places and not come in contact if symptoms appear. MGM Medical College Dean Dr. Arvind Ghanghoria held a meeting of experts on Wednesday and reviewed medical facilities like six-bed ICU ward and oxygen. A team of doctors and staff will be deployed in the Corona ward and timely investigation and treatment facilities will be provided to the patients.
