Rajnath Singh: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has clearly said in a meeting with his Netherlands counterpart in Delhi that he should stop giving arms to Pakistan because it is a dealer of terrorism. Apart from this, discussions were also held about cooperation in many other areas.

Rajnath Singh on Pakistan: Netherlands is constantly giving dangerous defense equipment like warships, patrol ships to Pakistan. Regarding this, India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh asked Netherlands not to give weapons to Pakistan. This issue was prominent in the meeting between Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and his Netherlands counterpart Ruben Brekelmans in New Delhi. India clearly said that Pakistan has been promoting cross-border terrorism for a long time and supplying weapons to it can increase the threat to the stability and security of South Asia.
Which weapons is the Netherlands providing?
The Netherlands had previously provided Pakistan with two Alkmaar-class minesweeper warships built at the Van der Giesen-de Noord shipyard. In addition, the Dutch company Damen Shipyards is also providing a 1900-tonne multi-purpose patrol vessel to Pakistan. Several Dutch companies are cooperating with Pakistan in the military sector, especially the naval sector.
What did Rajnath Singh say to Netherlands
Regarding this, Rajnath Singh told in the meeting that India has been facing Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts for years. He said that India appeals to all its friendly countries not to give any kind of military assistance to Pakistan, because its government attitude itself is to promote terrorism. After the meeting, Rajnath Singh said that he is happy to meet the young and energetic Defense Minister of Netherlands and hopes to further deepen the defense cooperation between the two countries.
Talks on cooperation in these areas
India and the Netherlands in their meeting have agreed to increase cooperation in the field of defense, security, information sharing, maritime cooperation and new technologies such as AI and drones. Both countries have also explored the possibilities of working together in shipbuilding, defense equipment and space sector. India urged the defense companies of the Netherlands to include Indian vendors in their supply chain.
India became tough on terrorism and Sikh separatism
India has recently stepped up its diplomatic efforts against terrorism and Sikh separatism. Because recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi also appealed to New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon on Monday to take strict action against Khalistani supporters there. Similarly, Rajnath Singh told US Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard that the US should declare the banned organization 'Sikhs for Justice' (SFJ) in India as a foreign terrorist organization.
