How to reach Kalpeshwar Temple?
It is very easy to reach Kalpeshwar Temple from any corner of the country. For this, you have to first come to Haridwar railway station. After reaching Haridwar railway station, you can take a taxi or rickshaw to Haridwar bus stand.
From Haridwar bus stand, catch the Uttarakhand Roadways bus for Helang which is about 243 km. After reaching Helang village, you have to take a local taxi or other vehicle to reach Urgam. From Urgam, you can trek to Kalpeshwar temple, which is just 2 km away.
Note: If you want, you can also stay overnight in Helang village and the next day early in the morning take a taxi to Urgam and from Urgam to visit Kalpeshwar temple.
Note: You can also take Uttarakhand Roadways bus from Rishikesh to Helang and then from Helang to visit Kalpeshwar temple. The distance from Rishikesh to Kalpeshwar temple is about 255 km.
Devprayag
When you leave for Kalpeshwar temple from Haridwar, the most prominent and popular religious place is Devprayag. Devprayag is also considered the first stop of Haridwar-Kalpeshwar temple road trip. Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet in Devprayag, from where river Ganga originates.
