How dangerous is Fateh-1 ballistic missile?
Fateh-1 missile is a short-range ballistic missile, which has been indigenously manufactured by Pakistan. Its range is 150 kilometers. Its advanced version is Fateh-2 and if we talk about it, then it can strike up to 400 kilometers. The striking power of this missile is considered to be very accurate, due to which it can pose a threat to important places in India.
Great results at low cost
The Fatah missile has a very low cost of production and low operating cost, and is equipped with advanced navigation systems, flight control technology and the ability to challenge existing missile defence systems. The Pakistani army claims that the missile can hit its target within 10 metres.
Threat to India's S-400 defense system
Pakistan has been saying that it has developed the Fatah missile to penetrate India's security system. For example, Pakistan has developed the Fatah-2 missile specifically to challenge the Russian-made S-400 air defense system. This missile can also target mobile targets like the S-400, which is important for India's security.
