CEO Shares Sale Proceeds With Employees: When a company strikes a major deal, it's often seen that profits are limited to promoters and investors. But this news from Louisiana, USA, has brought smiles to the faces of working people. Graham Walker, CEO of Louisiana-based family business Fiberbond, has completely changed this mindset.

Graham has decided to share 15 percent of the proceeds he was supposed to receive after selling the company with his 540 full-time employees. This amounts to approximately US$240 million, which translates to approximately ₹21.55 billion (approximately $2.4 billion) in Indian rupees...

Deal and bonus amount

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Fiberbond has been acquired by the American giant Eaton. During this deal, Graham stipulated that employees would be made shareholders in the sale proceeds. Most importantly, all employees were made shareholders in this deal, even those who did not previously own any shares in the company. Bonus payments began in June 2025.

On average, each employee will receive a bonus of approximately $443,000 (approximately Rs. 3.7 crore in Indian rupees). However, this amount will not be distributed all at once; it will be distributed over five years. It is also conditional on remaining with the company.

CEO statement

Company CEO Graham Walker said the loyalty decision was made in recognition of employees who have stood by the company through difficult times. Many employees initially found this incredulous.

However, Graham's decision is being widely discussed, with people on social media calling it one of the most positive pieces of news of Christmas.
