Gurugram Thar Accident News: A speeding Thar collided with a road divider in Gurugram at 4:30 am. Five people from Uttar Pradesh died in the accident. Police have seized the vehicle and launched an investigation.

A horrific road accident occurred at Exit 9 of National Highway 48 in Gurugram at around 4:30 am today. According to reports, a Mahindra Thar traveling toward Rajiv Chowk in Gurugram collided with a divider while taking the exit. Five people died on the spot. The deceased were residents of Uttar Pradesh and had come to Gurugram for work. The deceased included three young women and two young men. One of the bodies has been identified. She is said to be a 24-year-old woman who was a law student.  

Overspeeding became the cause of the accident

According to local police, the primary cause of the accident was the vehicle's high speed. The driver lost control of the vehicle, and the Thar collided with a divider. Police arrived at the scene, seized the vehicle, and have begun further investigations. The bodies of all the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination.

According to eyewitnesses, police immediately arrived at the scene and transported the injured and deceased to a local hospital. Five people were declared dead upon arrival. Police say speeding was the primary factor in the accident. The local administration has also increased security in the area following the accident.
