Ducati India has launched the new Multistrada V4 and V4 S (2025) in India. This time the bike has got major updates which make riding more comfortable, safe and powerful than before. The company is presenting it as a luxury adventure tourer. The new Multistrada range has advanced electronic features, better pillion comfort and a new sporty design inspired by Ducati's sports bikes.
Engine and performance
- The new Multistrada V4 gets a 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine that generates 170bhp of power and 123.8Nm of torque. It has Extended Cylinder Deactivation Technology, which reduces fuel consumption by about 6%. The service interval is also longer - oil service is done at 15,000 km or 24 months and valve clearance check is done at 60,000 km.
High-tech features in V4 S
- The Multistrada V4 S has Marzocchi Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO, which has bump detection and advanced preload system. It also has an automatic lowering device, which reduces the seat height by 30mm at low speeds. For safety, it includes Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Ducati Brake Light System. This system automatically turns on the hazard lights during emergency braking. It also has Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) technology, which is taken from MotoGP. It further improves ABS cornering, wheelie control and traction control.
More comfort for long rides
- Ducati has provided more legroom for pillion riders. The position of the panniers and top case has been changed and a new aluminium mount has been added. There are also different seat options for both rider and pillion. The bike has a total of 5 riding modes - Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro and a new Wet mode. Especially in the Enduro mode, the power is limited to 114bhp and the rear ABS is turned off, making off-roading even easier.
Price and Variants
- The new Ducati Multistrada V4 can be purchased in three colors – Ducati Red, Thrilling Black and Arctic White. Its ex-showroom price starts at around Rs 23 lakh and goes up to more than Rs 30 lakh in the top variant.
