From Fawad, Mahira to Shahid Afridi... India again banned PAK social media handles within 24 hours

The ban on the social media handles of Pakistani celebrities in India was recently lifted, but just a day later, they have been banned again.

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam , relations between India and Pakistan deteriorated a lot. After this, India took revenge from the terrorists through Operation Sindoor. During Operation Sindoor , social media handles of most of the Pakistani celebrities were banned in India. The ban on these accounts was lifted on Wednesday, but just a day after this, these accounts have been banned again. Many celebrities including Shahid Afridi and Hania Aamir are included in this list.

Actually, the accounts of Pakistani stars were visible in India for a few hours on Wednesday. It was being assumed that the ban on social media accounts has been lifted, but on Thursday again the accounts of Pakistani stars stopped appearing in India. On searching the accounts of Shahid Afridi, Fawad Khan or Mahira Khan, it appears written 'This account is not available in India.' However, no reaction has come from the government on this matter.
