Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat 2 Latest News: Bollywood romance lovers may have another love story to look forward to. Following the success of the 2025 romantic drama Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, discussions about a possible second installment have attracted considerable attention. Director Milap Zaveri has reportedly revealed that conversations about continuing the franchise have already taken place.

The original film, featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa in leading roles, connected with audiences through its emotional storytelling, romantic moments and the chemistry between its lead actors.

Although fans have been requesting another installment, the filmmakers have not officially announced the sequel's production schedule, cast or release date.

However, the director's latest remarks suggest that the possibility of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat 2 remains open.

Milap Zaveri Shares Update on Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Sequel

The discussion surrounding the sequel gained fresh momentum around October 21, 2026, marking one year since the original film's release.

During the anniversary celebrations, director Milap Zaveri reportedly reflected on the film's popularity and the response it continues to receive from viewers.

According to the entertainment report, Zaveri highlighted how the movie's memorable scenes, romantic moments and dialogues remain popular across social media platforms.

He also pointed out that fans continue to create reels and other content inspired by the film.

The filmmaker reportedly receives frequent requests for a sequel whenever he shares posts related to the romantic drama.

This sustained audience interest appears to have encouraged conversations about taking the story forward.

However, Zaveri has not indicated that the second film has received a final production approval.

Director Discusses Sequel With Producers and Lead Actors

One of the most interesting developments is that the possibility of another installment has reportedly been discussed among several people associated with the original project.

Milap Zaveri stated that he had conversations about a sequel with producer Anshul Garg, actors Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, and Raghav Sharma.

These discussions suggest that the creative team is aware of the audience's interest in seeing the franchise continue.

Nevertheless, the director reportedly emphasized that the project would move forward only when the circumstances and timing were appropriate.

This means the sequel remains a possibility rather than a confirmed production.

Important decisions concerning the script, budget, cast availability and production schedule would need to be finalized before filming could begin.

Will Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa Return for Part 2?

The biggest question among fans is whether Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa will share the screen again in the proposed sequel.

Their performances in the original film were among the major talking points following its theatrical release.

The actors' on-screen relationship helped create an emotional connection with viewers, contributing to the movie's popularity.

Naturally, audiences are hoping that the filmmakers will bring back the same leading pair if another installment is developed.

However, there has been no official announcement confirming that either actor has signed a contract for Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat 2.

It is also unclear whether the sequel would continue the original storyline, introduce a different romantic narrative or explore new characters.

Until the makers reveal their creative plans, any claims about the storyline or returning cast should be considered speculative.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office Collection

The commercial performance of the first film is another reason discussions about a sequel have gained attention.

Directed by Milap Zaveri, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat featured Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa alongside actors Shaad Randhawa and Sachin Khedekar.

According to the supplied report, the romantic drama earned approximately ₹110 crore to ₹112 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.

These reported earnings indicate that the film attracted a substantial audience and performed strongly at the box office.

The combination of emotional storytelling, music, performances and romantic drama contributed to the film's appeal.

Its continued visibility on social media has also helped maintain interest beyond the theatrical release.

However, box office collections alone do not guarantee that a sequel will be produced. The filmmakers must still decide whether a suitable story and production plan can be developed.

Why Are Fans Asking for Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat 2?

Romantic dramas often develop a dedicated audience when viewers connect strongly with their characters and emotional themes.

In the case of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, the lead actors' performances and the film's dramatic romantic sequences helped generate discussion among moviegoers.

According to Zaveri's reported remarks, scenes and dialogues from the film continue to circulate through fan-made videos and social media reels.

The director also suggested that requests for another installment frequently appear in the comments on his posts.

Such responses demonstrate continuing interest in the film, even a year after its release.

For the filmmakers, this audience enthusiasm could be an encouraging factor when considering whether to develop another chapter.

When Will Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat 2 Release?

As of the update described in the October 26, 2026 report, the filmmakers have not announced an official release date for the proposed sequel.

There is also no confirmed information about when filming might begin.

Before a production schedule can be finalized, the makers would need to complete several stages of planning, including story development, casting, financing and scheduling.

If the project receives formal approval, further details could be shared through the production team or the actors' official communication channels.

Fans should therefore avoid relying on unverified release dates circulating online.

What Is the Latest Update on the Sequel?

However, the project has not yet been formally announced with a confirmed cast, shooting schedule or release date.
