India's young diplomat at the UNGA, Petal Gehlot, gave a strong reply to Pakistan on terrorism and said that terrorist organizations are still the center of its foreign policy.

India once again exposed Pakistan's duplicity at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Using the Right to Reply, young Indian diplomat and Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Petal Gehlot called Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's speech a "pack of lies." Gehlot stated that terrorism and terrorist organizations remain central to Pakistan's foreign policy. She stated clearly that Pakistani leaders glorify terrorists, and India holds Pakistan responsible for attacks on innocent civilians.
Gehlot recalled the sheltering of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan and called Shahbaz Sharif's statement on the recent Operation Sindoor "bizarre and false." He said that Pakistan was threatening India on May 9th, and the very next day its army was calling for a ceasefire. India clarified that it reserves the right to self-defense and will respond to any attack.
Direct message to Pakistan at UNGA
Gehlot delivered a clear message to Pakistan at the UNGA: If it truly wants peace, it must disband all terrorist organizations operating in its territory and hand over India's most wanted terrorists. This was a strong diplomatic message from India that exposed Pakistan's terrorism.
