Delhi University UG Admission 2025: DU has over 9,000 vacant seats in UG programs. To fill these seats, DU has begun the physical spot mop-up round of admissions.

Delhi University UG Admission: The admission process for UG programs at Delhi University has not yet been completed. In fact, more than 9,000 seats in UG programs at the university are still vacant. To fill these seats, DU has begun the physical spot mop-up round of enrollment. The application process for the spot mop-up round began on Wednesday, September 17th. Under this process, students can apply for admission to DU until 11:59 pm on September 19th.
According to the seat matrix released by DU, a total of 9,194 seats are vacant. Of these, the highest number of vacant seats are in the OBC category (2,136), followed by 1,439 seats in the General category, 1,092 in the SC category, 1,528 in the ST category, 1,248 in the EWS category, 1,263 in the PwBD category, 246 in the Sikh category, and 242 in the Christian category.
Who will get the chance to apply?
Only students who have not yet enrolled in a college can apply for this Delhi University admission round. Students who have already enrolled will not be eligible. When applying, students must submit their profile along with the required documents. Incomplete or incorrect documents will result in cancellation of admission. Students who are not yet registered for admission to Delhi University on the CSAS (UG)-2025 portal can register by paying ₹1,000. Students who have already enrolled will not be eligible to participate in this round.
What is the admission process?
After the application process at Delhi University is complete, the university will begin shortlisting on September 23rd. Candidates selected based on seat availability and merit will receive an invitation letter via email, including a reporting date and time. Candidates must appear in person at the university at the designated time. No representatives will be permitted. Delhi University's mop-up round is being touted as beneficial for students who did not receive admission in the first round.
