IRCTC Divya Dakshin Yatra With Arunachalam Package: There's good news for pilgrims wishing to visit the famous pilgrimage sites of South India. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has launched a special religious travel package, allowing travelers to visit several major temples and religious sites in South India in a single trip. This journey will be conducted via the Bharat Gaurav tourist train and will include travel, meals, accommodation, and other amenities.
How many days will this journey take?
IRCTC has named this special tour package "Divya Dakshin Yatra with Arunachalam." The journey will commence on July 20th and will last for a total of 8 nights and 9 days. The package code for this tour is SCZBG-63. The train has seating arrangements for a total of 702 passengers, including sleeper, third AC, and second AC classes. The journey will begin from Secunderabad Railway Station. However, for passenger convenience, boarding and deboarding facilities have been provided at several other stations as well. Passengers will also be able to board the train from Charlapalli, Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, and Renigunta stations.
Which places can you visit?
During this spiritual journey, pilgrims will be taken to seven major religious sites in South India. These include the famous Arunachaleswara Temple in Tiruvannamalai, the Nataraja Temple in Chidambaram, the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Trichy, the Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur, the Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameswaram, the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai, and the Kumari Amman Temple in Kanyakumari. In Kanyakumari, pilgrims will also be able to see the Vivekananda Rock Memorial.
How much will it cost?
Package prices are determined by travel class. Adult passengers are charged at ₹15,600 for sleeper class, ₹23,100 for 3AC, and ₹29,500 for 2AC. Children aged 5 to 11 are charged ₹14,600 for sleeper class, ₹21,900 for 3AC, and ₹28,100 for 2AC.
