Delhi Weather: Chances of rain every day for the next six days, temperature will remain below 40 degrees; Read IMD's new update

Light rain is expected in Delhi for the next six days, due to which the temperature is expected to remain below 40 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of heat wave but humidity will remain. The day will be cloudy and there may be rain with thunder. During this time, the wind speed is likely to remain up to 30-40 km per hour.

 The weather of May which has been surprising continuously will continue to surprise in the coming days as well. The weather department has forecast that there are chances of light rain in the capital every day for the next six days i.e. till 24 May. During this time, the temperature will also remain below 40 degrees Celsius. That means there is no possibility of heat wave in the near future. However, the heat will continue to bother due to increase in humidity.

 

Meanwhile, the weather was quite hot on Sunday as well. The sky was clear throughout the day and the sun was shining brightly. The maximum temperature was recorded at 41.4 degrees Celsius, 1.0 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was 26.9 degrees Celsius, 0.4 degrees above normal. The humidity level in the air was recorded at 62 to 26 percent. Palam with a maximum temperature of 43.2 degrees and Pitampura with a minimum temperature of 28.4 degrees were the hottest areas of Delhi.

 

It will be partly cloudy on Monday

The weather department has forecast partly cloudy weather on Monday. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, strong winds at the speed of 30 to 40 km per hour and light rain. The wind speed can go up to 50 km. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 39 degrees while the minimum temperature is expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius. More or less the same weather will prevail in Delhi throughout the week.
