According to sources, following the blast, investigation teams have collected data from all mobile phones operating in and around the Red Fort. This could help identify numbers or devices that may be linked to the car bombing.
Parking area data is also under investigation.

Investigators believe that the people associated with the vehicle that exploded may have been in contact with each other through some means. Case registered under several sections, including UAPA
In the case of a car blast in Delhi's Kotwali area, the police have registered an FIR under sections of UAPA, the Explosives Act, and the BNS. DCP North Raja Banthia said that teams of NSG, Delhi Police, and FSL are present at the spot and are conducting a detailed investigation of the entire incident. He said that some body remains have been found from the car, which are being collected by the forensic team. 9 people have been confirmed dead and 16 injured in the blast in a car near Red Fort in Delhi on Monday.
