Darshan Arrested: Police arrested actor Darshan and Pavitra Gowda in Renukaswamy murder case

Renukaswamy Murder Case: Bangalore Police has arrested Kannada actor Darshan in the Renukaswamy murder case. Along with him, actress Pavitra Gowda has also been arrested. The police has taken action against both of them after the Supreme Court's decision.

 

Kannada Actor Darshan Arrested: Police has taken action against Kannada actor Darshan and actress Pavitra Gowda. Both have been arrested. Both have been arrested in the Renukaswami murder case. Today, on the morning of August 14, the Supreme Court canceled the bail of Darshan, Pavitra Gowda and five other accused. Now after a few hours, both have been arrested.

 

Along with cancelling the bail in Renukaswamy murder case, the Supreme Court had also ordered the police to arrest Darshan soon. After the court's decision, Bengaluru police has arrested him. He has been arrested from Prestige South Ridge Apartment in Hosakerehalli, Bengaluru.

From where was Darshan arrested?

Darshan was in flat number 4154 on the 15th floor of this apartment. He came to this apartment in an Innova car and entered the apartment from the back gate and was present in the flat. He was arrested from there. Darshan was arrested under the leadership of Inspector Nagesh of Kamakshipalya Police Station and Inspector Subramanya of Govindraj Nagar Police Station. Police arrested Pavithra Gowda from her house. A video of her has also surfaced, in which the police is seen taking her away.

 

What is the matter?

This case is about the murder of autorickshaw driver Renukaswamy. Darshan is the main accused in this murder case. He is accused of keeping the victim in a shed in Bengaluru for three days in June 2024. He was tortured there. Later the victim's body was recovered from a drain.

On 13 December 2024, the Karnataka High Court had given the decision to grant bail to Darshan and other accused in this case. However, the Supreme Court opposed that decision. And now the Supreme Court has cancelled the bail of him as well as Pavitra Gowda and five other accused.
