COMEDK 2025 Exam: Postponed in 14 Districts Amid India-Pakistan Tension

Due to the escalating tension between India and Pakistan, several exams have been postponed across India. The COMEDK UGET 2025 and Uni-GAUGE E exams, which were originally scheduled for May 10, 2025, have been rescheduled in 14 districts. This decision follows the national security measures under Operation Sindoor, with the Government of India ordering the temporary closure of educational institutions in affected areas.
Postponed Exam Locations
The exams have been postponed in the following districts:
- Gujarat: Jamnagar
- Haryana: Ambala
- Jammu and Kashmir: Srinagar, Jammu
- Punjab: Ludhiana, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Mohali, Patiala, Amritsar
- Rajasthan: Jodhpur, Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar
Rescheduled Exam Details
The COMEDK board has assured students in the affected areas that the exams will be rescheduled. A new date for the exam in these regions will be announced soon. Students are advised to regularly check the official COMEDK website (comedk.org) for updates.
Despite the postponement in these 14 districts, COMEDK UGET 2025 and Uni-GAUGE E exams will proceed as scheduled on May 10, 2025, at all other centers across India.
More Than 1 Lakh Registrations
This year, 1,31,937 students have registered for the COMEDK exams, which will take place across 28 states, 179 cities, and 248 centers. The exams will be held in three sessions:
- Session 1: 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Session 2: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Session 3: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Other Postponed Exams
In light of the ongoing situation, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences has also canceled exams scheduled from May 15, 2025, including medical, paramedical, and nursing exams. Additionally, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed its CA Final, Inter, and Post Qualification Course exams.
