Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has stated that the state government is determined to free Bastar from violence and move it forward on the path of peace, development, and trust. Posting on his social media handle X, he said that the precise, bold, and successful action by security forces in the Gondiguda area of ​​Sukma district has dealt a severe blow to the Maoist network. This action is a clear indication that the days of violence in Bastar are coming to an end, and Bastar is rapidly moving towards development and mainstreaming.

 

CM Sai said that due to the strong leadership and clear policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the consistent and effective action of the security forces, the sensitive rehabilitation policy of the state government, and the unwavering support of the local people, decisive change is visible in Bastar. The Maoist infrastructure is steadily weakening, and their violent plots are becoming ineffective.

Those who renounce violence will be respected.

The Chief Minister also stated that the government's message is clear: rehabilitation, livelihood, security, and a dignified future will be ensured for those who wish to abandon the path of violence and join mainstream society.
