Chardham Yatra Running Smoothly with Heli Services, Security Tightened: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has assured that the Chardham Yatra is proceeding without disruption and helicopter services are fully operational. Addressing concerns over safety and management, CM Dhami emphasized that the state government is fully committed to ensuring a safe, systematic, and smooth pilgrimage for all devotees.

The Chardham Yatra—covering Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri—is ongoing with full arrangements in place. No hindrance has been reported so far.

To aid accessibility, especially for elderly or remote-area pilgrims, helicopter services to shrine sites are being conducted efficiently and reliably.

🔹 Security and Monitoring Strengthened

Security personnel are stationed along all major routes. CM Dhami stressed the importance of real-time monitoring systems to quickly respond to emergencies.

The CM has directed all secretaries to carry out on-ground inspections of the Yatra routes and ensure continuous improvements. The Chief Secretary has been tasked with issuing new guidelines to further enhance readiness.
