The blood moon will be visible between 11 pm and 12:22 am.

Pregnant women should take precautions during eclipse

  • Stay indoors, and do not look at the eclipse.
  • Avoid using sharp objects like scissors, knives and needles. 
  • Pregnant women should not sleep during eclipse. Instead, chant and pray. 
  • After the eclipse is over, take a bath and wear clean clothes.

  • Take bath with water containing Ganga water. 
  • Do the laundry and clean the house.
  • Donate food to the needy. 
  • Chant the name of God and pray
