Simi Garewal, famous for her iconic chat show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, made her Cannes debut at the age of 77, dazzling in a graceful white dress designed by Indian couture brand Carleo. Her elegant appearance and poise won hearts, marking a memorable milestone in her career.
Sharmila Tagore, aged 80, stole the show in a regal green saree, radiating simplicity and grace. She attended the festival alongside her daughter, Saba Ali Khan, who shared glimpses of their Cannes experience on social media.
Both actresses were present for the screening of the 4K restored classic Aranyer Din Ratri (Days and Nights in the Forest) by legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray. The film, originally released in 1970, was featured in the festival’s classic section and screened in English, receiving warm appreciation from cinephiles worldwide.
