BPSC Exam: BPSC 71st prelims tomorrow, if you arrive late you will not get entry; 5 years ban if you break the rules

BPSC Exam: BPSC 71st preliminary exam will be held on September 13 from 12 noon to 2 pm; the gates will be closed at 11 am. Mobiles, smartwatches, and electronic items are completely banned.

BPSC 71st Prelims Exam 2025: The time has come for the 71st preliminary examination of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). This exam will be held tomorrow, i.e., on 13 September 2025. The exam will be held in a single shift from 12 noon to 2 pm. The commission has strictly advised the candidates to reach on time so that there is no problem.

 

BPSC has clarified that the candidates should reach the examination center two and a half hours in advance. The gates will be closed at 11 am and after that no entry will be allowed under any circumstances. That is, even if a candidate reaches at 11:01, he will not get a chance to take the exam. Therefore, all the candidates are appealed to prepare in advance and reach the examination center on time.

 

To appear for the exam, candidates must bring their e-admit card with them. Along with this, an extra copy of the admit card will also be required, which the candidate will have to sign and hand over to the invigilator. Apart from this, it is necessary to bring the same photo ID that is mentioned on the admit card.

BPSC has said that candidates should ensure that the barcode along with the roll number is clearly printed on their e-admit card. Candidates whose photo or signature is not clear will have to submit additional documents at the examination center. For this, the commission has made available a declaration form on its website, which will have to be filled and submitted at the examination center along with a color photo and certified signature.

What can't you take inside?

Many things are prohibited in the examination centre. Things like mobile phones, Bluetooth, WiFi devices, smartwatches, normal watches, electronic pens, pagers, calculators are completely banned. Apart from this, items like markers, white fluid, blades and erasers cannot be taken inside. If any such items are found with any candidate, it will be considered as malpractice and strict action will be taken.

The examination process will be very strict

From opening the seal of confidential material before the start of the exam to the end, every step will be videographed. Especially the faces and activities of the candidates will be monitored. Candidates will be able to leave the examination hall only after the exam. However, they will be allowed to take the question booklet with them.

5 year ban on misconduct

The commission has clearly stated that if any candidate is found involved in misconduct, not only will his candidature for this exam be cancelled, but he will also be barred from appearing in any BPSC exam for the next five years. If anyone is found guilty of spreading rumours, a ban of three years will be imposed on him.

Negative Marking

There will also be negative marking in the preliminary examination. One-third marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. If a candidate changes the answer using a marker, white fluid or eraser, negative marking will be applicable even if it is considered wrong.

Opportunity to lodge a complaint

If any candidate sees any problem related to the question paper or the exam, they can lodge a complaint with an affidavit within 48 hours of the end of the exam. The commission has assured that all complaints will be investigated within 72 hours.
