After an obscene video of senior BJP leader Babban Singh Raghuvanshi of Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh went viral on social media, he has been expelled from the party with immediate effect. Bharatiya Janata Party's state general secretary and office in-charge Govind Narayan Shukla issued an official letter saying that Raghuvanshi's behavior is against the party's discipline and values.

People are very angry after the video went viral on social media. After Babban Singh Raghuvanshi's obscene video with a female dancer went viral on the internet, it came to the notice of BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary. He directed the disciplinary committee to take strict action in this matter. After this, state BJP general secretary Govind Narayan Shukla issued an order to expel Raghuvanshi from the party.
Babban Singh's answer
Giving clarification about this, Babbar Singh said, 'This incident happened 20 days ago during a wedding ceremony in Durgipur, Bihar. I have not done anything wrong. My opponents have used this video to spread false propaganda against me. 'This is a conspiracy to damage my reputation. This video is fabricated. MLA Ketki Singh's family is behind this.'

MLA Ketki Singh rejected these allegations and said, "I respect his age. But I expect responsible behavior from those who are in front of the public. The person who has committed the mistake should take responsibility in this matter."
