Bihar Police Constable Result 2025: Women Lead, 8 Transgenders Also Selected

The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has released the results for the Bihar Police Constable recruitment on May 9, 2025. The results were announced by Selection Board Chairman Jitendra Kumar through a press conference. A total of 21,391 constable positions were up for grabs, and the final list of selected candidates includes a diverse range of individuals, with women leading the selection process.
Breakdown of the Selected Candidates
- Women: 11,178
- Men: 10,205
- Transgenders: 8
- Home Guards: 30
- Dependents of Freedom Fighters: 68
The selected candidates will be required to attend their respective appointment areas between June 1 and June 3 to complete their formalities.

The category-wise selection details for the 21,391 constable positions are as follows:
- General Category: 8,556
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 2,140
- SC (Scheduled Caste): 3,400
- ST (Scheduled Tribe): 228
- EBC (Extremely Backward Class): 3,842
- BC (Backward Class): 2,570
- WBC (Women Backward Class): 655

- A new window will open displaying the roll numbers of the selected candidates.
- Press Ctrl + F to search for your roll number.
- Download and save the PDF of the result for future reference.
Statistics of the Recruitment Process
- Total Registrations: 1,787,720 candidates
- Candidates Appeared for Written Exam: 1,195,101
- Candidates Passed the Written Exam: 107,079 (who were shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test)
- Candidates Who Appeared for PET: 86,539 (53,960 men, 32,569 women, and 10 transgenders)
Upcoming Examination for 19,838 Posts
Chairman Jitendra Kumar also mentioned that the recruitment process for an additional 19,838 constable positions is currently underway. A total of 17 lakh applications have been received, and the recruitment process will soon move on to the written examination phase, which will be conducted in the coming months.
